This is not an entry-level administrative position. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing large amounts of documents and litigation workflow with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting discovery requests and discovery responses
- Organizing and reviewing large client files and productions
- Preparing hearing and trial binders
- Managing exhibits and exhibit indexes
- Assisting with evidentiary organization and objections
- Calendaring litigation deadlines and monitoring case status
- Drafting pleadings, notices, and litigation-related documents
- Coordinating filings and maintaining case files
- Assisting with trial and hearing preparation
- Communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Family law, Criminal law, Probate and/or Civil Litigation strongly preferred
- Experience with discovery preparation and responses
- Experience preparing exhibits and trial binders
- Familiarity with Texas state court procedures and e-filing
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize deadlines
- Experience with MyCase, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal drafting software preferred
